Energy-saving copper-clad aluminum tube busbar technology

The China Industrial Energy Conservation and Cleaner Production Association recently held the "Energy-saving Copper-clad Aluminum Pipe Busbar" scientific and technological achievements appraisal meeting in Beijing.

Experts attending the meeting listened to the technical report on the development of energy-saving copper-clad aluminum tube busbars, on-site inspection report, new report, user application report, etc., reviewed the appraisal data, investigated the results of samples and production sites, and Samples were rated for temperature rise and insulation withstand voltage tests.

After questioning and discussion, experts unanimously stated that the performance test of the product of Zhaoxi Dianhua's products through the electric power industry's electrical equipment quality inspection and test center for temperature rise of the rated current of the product, insulation and pressure resistance, the results were qualified, and the technical performance indicators were in line with: Q/BLRZ2-2013 "Energy Saving Copper-clad aluminum pipe busbar" enterprise standards and related national standards. The products were tested by the test team of the appraisal committee and the results were qualified. The product was evaluated by SGS (Standard and Technical Service of Standard & Technical Service Co., Ltd.). Under the condition of 4000A, the energy-saving effect of the copper-clad aluminum pipe busbar compared to the copper bar was significant.

Experts indicated that the design of energy-saving copper-clad aluminum tube busbars is novel, which has improved the effective utilization of copper, increased the effective cross-section of the conductor current, improved the non-uniform coefficient of current density, and reduced the rated current temperature rise to ≤30K. It has achieved the advantages of reducing line losses, improving the safe running performance of busbars in a hot environment, prolonging the life of insulating materials, saving copper materials, reducing conductor weight, and enhancing mechanical strength. This achievement fills the gaps in the domestic market and the technological level is advanced internationally.

The experts agreed to pass the results of technical appraisal. Experts in the assessment believe that the production site, process equipment and testing equipment of Rizhao Zhaodian can meet the production requirements. It is recommended to further strengthen the application of theoretical research and process optimization design and establish and improve relevant standards.
