Recently, Yunnan Wanxi Dawei Coking Co., Ltd. successfully commissioned a 50,000-ton (50%) hydrogen peroxide plant and produced qualified hydrogen peroxide products on May 16, ending the production of hydrogen peroxide-free water in Yunnan Province. The history has filled the gap in the large-scale production of hydrogen peroxide products in Yunnan Province.
The 50,000-ton/year hydrogen peroxide plant, with a total investment of 200 million yuan and started construction in April 2011, is a continuation project of the original 950,000-ton/year coking plant supporting facility in the western Fujian Coking Co. Due to the multi-hydrogen and carbon-less components of coke oven gas, the project adopts the crucible process to produce hydrogen peroxide through the processes of pressure swing adsorption, hydrogenation, oxidation, extraction, concentration, purification, post-treatment, and waste water. Advanced, high degree of automation, mature and reliable technology.
The completion of the project will help to make full use of the rich hydrogen in the coke oven gas, optimize the industrial chain of the company, improve the technological level of the coal chemical industry and accelerate the adjustment of product structure, make rational use of resources, and promote the development of circular economy.
