Hyundai Heavy Industries' "mobile power generation equipment" exports reached 1,000 units

July 12 Hyundai Heavy Industries held a "mobile power generation equipment 1,000 factory memorial" heavy-duty engine plant in Ulsan. This batch of mobile power generation equipment includes 65 sets of 1.7MW class mobile power generation equipment of Sino Hyder Company undertaken by Hyundai Heavy Industries in March . After undergoing final inspection and packaging and other finishing work, it will be exported to Angola, Africa in the middle of this month.

The mobile power plant (PPS) will be loaded with a Hyundai Heavy Industries-developed "HIMSEM engine " in a 40- foot container . It is a small-scale power station that is currently only produced by Hyundai Heavy Industries. Mobile power generation equipment is easy to install and move. It uses low-cost heavy oil as fuel, which can effectively solve the power problem in power-hungry areas, and has attracted much attention in island countries and remote areas.

Since 2001 , Hyundai Heavy Industries has started exporting to the Dominican Republic. Since then, equipment exports have continued to expand to Central and South America and the Middle East such as Cuba, Chile and Iraq. In particular, it has played a central role in the stable power supply and earthquake disaster recovery projects in the Central and South American seabed and Chile and other places where natural disasters such as earthquakes and typhoons occur frequently.
