Introduction of full tailings filling process

(1) Features of full tailings filling. The domestic tailings are filled with grit, and the amount of sand is often insufficient. The overflow tailings cannot be dammed, and the quarrying and damming is required. The cost is high, and the fine-grained overflow tailings pollute the environment. Filling with full tailings can avoid and improve the above problems. HONGTOUSHAN copper mine had used the whole tailings backfill mined-out area, and achieved good results. The difficulty of filling the whole tailings is the settlement and dewatering of the fine-grained tailings. Ideally, a high-concentration homogenized stream is transported downhole on the ground without dehydration in the well. At present, it is mainly used for post-filling of goafs.

(2) Example of full tail thixotropic flow transport. A Qise Soviet lead zinc ore using a high concentration thixotropic whole tailings backfill material conveyed in the tailing -0.074mm size fraction content of 70 to 100%, by weight of the solid-liquid ratio of 80: 20 ~ 83: 17. Each cubic meter of filling material contains 100-140kg of cement, 1550~1600kg of whole tailings, and 400~420L of water. After the stirring, the filling has a slump of 10-20 cm and has good conveying performance. The filling line is 5-7, and is sent to the underground with a pipe with a diameter of 140 mm, and the production capacity is 12 m3/h. In this way, the filling of the filling material does not require dewatering, so that the structure and the recovery process of the mining method can be simplified. The cement can be saved in a large amount under the condition that the strength of the filling body is constant, and the cement consumption is 200 kg/m3 when transported from the original heterogeneous stream; it is reduced to 120 kg/m3.
