According to foreign media reports, the Japan Broadcasting Association NHK reported on Friday that Nissan’s factory misbehavior has continued for at least 20 years. The report may cause Japan's second-largest car maker Nissan to suffer another setback.

Nissan reported on Thursday evening that two factories in Japan will suspend production for at least two weeks in order to handle the misconduct of the final inspection process. The first exposure of the Nissan plant's misconduct was in the last month, and Nissan has recalled nearly 120 cars in Japan in the past three years under the influence of the scandal.

Persons who are unwilling to disclose their identities disclose that for the latest production misconduct, the Nissan Body Group’s Shonan factory has launched an internal investigation. It is reported that vehicle inspections conducted by technicians who did not have qualification certificates continued until October 11.

Japan Sankei Shimbun reported that there are about 3,800 vehicles involved in improper production, but Nissan believes that the relevant vehicles meet the safety standards, so no recall will be issued. Nissan spokesman did not respond to this in a timely manner. At the press conference held on October 2nd, Niro CEO Hiroto Saikawa said that from September 20th, only qualified technicians participated in the inspection.

Japan’s land, infrastructure, and transportation departments have also launched investigations into Nissan’s factories. The investigation found that the technical personnel holding the qualification certificate did not appear in the relevant documents of the last vehicle inspection procedure, but was completed by those who did not have the qualification certificate. The authorities also asked Nissan to introduce relevant measures before the end of the month to prevent such incidents from happening again.

A Nissan news spokesman refused to respond directly to the NHK report and even denied it. With reference to the speech by Nishikawa Hirose on Thursday, Nissan Motor’s inspection staff training system has not been replaced for 20 years. However, he added that this is different from the duration of improper production.

The Japanese Minister of Transportation immediately stated that the investigation of improper production within Nissan continues, and it is still unclear how long the duration of improper production will last.

Braille Signage

Braille signage typically consists of raised characters that can be felt with the fingertips. These characters are embossed onto the sign surface, allowing individuals to read the information using their sense of touch. Braille signage is usually accompanied by visual text and graphics to accommodate individuals with varying degrees of visual impairment.
Braille signage is essential for promoting accessibility and inclusivity. It allows individuals with visual impairments to navigate public spaces safely and independently by providing information about room numbers, restroom locations, elevator access, emergency exits, and other important details. Additionally, Braille signage can also include tactile symbols to convey information about specific amenities, such as elevators, staircases, restrooms, or parking spaces.
