Noniwell Pneumatic Membrane Control Valves Share Fluid-Structure Coupling Typical Procedure

Through the ANSYS software physical environment method, the valve core-stem system was analyzed by fluid-solid coupling. The spool-stem displaces under fluid forces. The magnitude of the displacement will change the boundary of the moving wall of the spool to significantly affect the shape of the flow field. Fluid-Structure Coupling Analysis The displacement of the moving wall of the spool is obtained for the flow field analysis by structural analysis. Typical fluid-solid coupling analysis of the typical steps are as follows: 1, to create the entire geometric model: including the fluid area and regulating valve body structure area. 2, create a fluid physical environment: to give the fluid area unit type, but also determine the number of iterations, activate the turbulence model, the application of the boundary conditions. 3, to create a physical structure of the environment: clear the fluid in the physical environment set the message, ready to define the physical structure of the structure. Convert cell types and set cell options, set fluid zone cells to NULL, assign structure regions to cell types, apply structural boundary conditions, define appropriate load steps and solution options, and then write the structural physical environment file. 4, fluid / structure solving cycle: In this system, the entrance speed as a general guideline of convergence. When the difference between inlet velocities solved by Flotran is small enough, the solution is ended. The number of iterations set up by the initial Flotran analysis should be somewhat larger to facilitate better convergence. Subsequent fluid analyzes are restarted based on the previous fluid analysis, so the number of iterations may be less. Structural analysis also needs to be restarted. For non-linear analysis, the node must be restored to its original position before restarting. In this paper, a total of five coupling iterations were performed. The first Flotran analysis performed a total of 100 iterations to obtain a higher convergence accuracy. The subsequent four Flotran analyzes each iteration 40 times to meet the accuracy requirements. A total of 260 iterations, take the first 250 times the data that is the first 0.25s displacement response.
