Zhangzhou is a pilot city for the application of semiconductor lighting applications in the Ten Cities of the Ministry of Science and Technology. In 2012, the city took the lead in the country to light up Chenzhou. Green lighting action, plans to install 30,000 square meters of LED street lights in 3 years, and promote the use of LED green lighting for landscape lighting and community lighting, to encourage the use of LED lighting products for public, commercial and home indoor lighting. In recent years, Zhangzhou High-tech Zone has increased the investment of LED enterprises, helping LED enterprises in the park to seek relevant industrial policies from the provinces and cities, and fully support the development of the LED industry. It has successively introduced dozens of LED enterprises such as Hualei Optoelectronics, Delta Electronics, Philips Lighting, Changqi New Energy, Jushen Electronics, Huazhuo Optoelectronics, and Huate Optoelectronics, becoming the main battlefield of Zhangzhou LED industry cluster. In just a few years, the LED industry in Zhangzhou has sprung up. Hualei Optoelectronics owns 32 MOCVD equipments, and has an annual production capacity of 1.2 million epitaxial wafers. Its production capacity ranks in the top ten in the country. The company has recently passed the feasibility study report of graphical sapphire substrate (PSS) technology, which can be new. Increased production capacity by 1.8 million pieces. Philips Lighting has settled in the park by renting and building. By leasing the factory buildings, configuring production equipment and introducing LED high-tech talents, the annual output of LED street lighting products has reached more than 50,000. Changqi New Energy utilizes the patented technology of independent intellectual property rights to upgrade the LED to an integrated light-emitting working mode, and utilizes the red ion superconducting heat-dissipating technology to solve the technical problem of heat dissipation, greatly reducing the production cost and prolonging the service life of the product. Huazhuo Optoelectronics, which settled in the park at the end of last year, has invested hundreds of millions of yuan to build energy-saving lighting production bases and large-scale automated production systems, and focuses on LED and induction lighting applications and lighting solutions. In less than one year, three production lines were built and trial production was successively launched, which effectively strengthened the LED industry cluster in the park.
