Fushun Petrochemical granulation equipment has reached the international advanced level

Fushun Petrochemical is the largest paraffin wax production and export base in the country. The annual output and trade volume of paraffin wax ranks the first in the world. Paraffin wax exports account for 35% of the national export volume. The paraffin wax product of the company is certified by the US as commodity inspection-free products.
At present, the company is targeting the international paraffin sales market for the trend of strong demand for small particles and small packaging paraffins, while China's current paraffin wax molding technology mainly uses the wax molding technology of the 1970s. Although the processing volume is large, it has high energy consumption and efficiency. Lower, high failure rate of the device, and block waxes also have many deficiencies in terms of packaging, transportation, and use. At present, many foreign companies use water-cooled steel tape pelletizing technology, but this method also has the processing capacity, granulation efficiency, pellet wax adhesion, granulation equipment, mechanical failure rate and other shortcomings. In order to explore a low-input, low-consumption, low-failure rate, high-efficiency, and high-quality paraffin granulation molding production line, the company’s team of scientific researchers has invested in this experiment. This work has also been led by China National Petroleum Corporation. Highly valued and supported, this technology has been listed as a key scientific research and development project of China National Petroleum Corporation and was officially approved in March 2003.
In the past three years, the company’s researchers have worked closely with the teachers of Tsinghua University to carry out optimization experiments for the optimal conditions for granulation and the basic design of the 400 kg/h paraffin underwater pelletizing device and system, key equipment granulators, pellet wax dryers and Material handling equipment design, equipment selection, and test device construction were carried out on December 8, 2005 and March 18, 2006. Two test runs were carried out. During the period, several key technical problems were solved on the key equipment and process exposed problems. Finally meet the test requirements.
