What principle does the whiteness meter use to detect the whiteness of cotton?
It is understood that the instrument uses a photometric integrating sphere to achieve absolute spectral diffuse reflectance measurement. The photoelectric principle is that the light emitted by the halogen tungsten lamp is composed of blue-violet light by the condenser and the color filter. The light entering the integrating sphere is diffusely reflected on the inner wall of the integrating sphere and irradiates the sample at the test port. Silicon photovoltaic cells receive and convert them into electrical signals. Another silicon photocell receives the substrate signal in the sphere, and the two electrical signals are amplified and mixed to obtain the whiteness value.
Operation method of whiteness tester for cotton whiteness:
(1) Start up and warm up for 30 minutes.
(2) Zero calibration: press the "sliding cylinder", place the "black cylinder" on the "sample holder", let the sliding cylinder rise to the "measurement port", you can see the words on the display, adjust the "zero adjustment" knob , Make the digital display 0.00, the zero calibration is completed.
(3) Adjust the work whiteness value: remove the black tube, put on the "work whiteboard" and adjust the "calibration" knob, so that the standard value of the work whiteboard is displayed on the screen. For example, the standard value of the working whiteboard of this whiteness meter is 79.4. Adjust the "calibration" knob to display 79.4 on the screen, and the adjustment is complete.
(4) Then remove the working whiteboard, put a cotton sample on the panel, and the whiteness value of the panel will be displayed on the screen.
(5) After the test is completed, turn off the power and cover the dust cover.
