India's polyurethane demand will double in the next 5 years

Senior market manager of India's Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilisers (GNFC) recently stated at the Asian Polyurethane (PU) Seminar that the consumption of PU in India will double in the next five years, and in the fiscal year ending on March 31, 2012, India PU consumption will reach 350,000 tons/year.

The source said that in 2012, about 30% of India's PU consumption will be for soft sheet foam, 20% for soft cold-cured foam, 20% for rigid foam, and the rest Other applications for foam production, such as shoes and elastomers. At present, the consumption of polyurethanes per capita in India is only 0.1 kg/year, while the consumption of polyurethanes per capita in developed countries and regions such as the US and Europe has exceeded 6 kg/year, so the Indian market has great potential for development.

Soft sheet foam will continue to be the largest consumer product in the Indian PU market. The demand for soft sheet foam in the furniture sector will increase by 20% by 2012, which will be the main driving force for the growth of demand for soft sheet foam. Rigid foam consumption is another major driving force for the rapid growth of demand in the Indian polyurethane market, and its consumption is mainly driven by the increase in demand for construction applications.

Die Casting CNC

The die casting process involves the use of a furnace, metal, die casting machine, and die.
The metal, typically a non-ferrous alloy such as aluminum, is melted in the furnace and then injected into the dies in the die casting machine. After the molten metal is injected into the dies, it rapidly cools and solidifies into the final part, called the casting.
The castings that are created in this process can vary greatly in size and weight, ranging from a couple ounces to 100 pounds. One common application of die cast parts are housings - thin-walled enclosures, often requiring many ribs and bosses on the interior.
Metal housings for a variety of appliances and equipment are often die cast.
Several automobile components are also manufactured using die casting, including pistons, cylinder heads, and engine blocks. Other common die cast parts include propellers, gears, bushings, pumps, and valves.
