The camera is only a part of the video monitoring system. Even if the camera is intact, the monitoring screen may not be displayed, stuck or lost. If you want to solve the problem of network monitoring, you often need to check each connected device before you can judge. 1. Unable to search the IP camera

Whether the IP address of the network camera has been modified, please make sure that the network camera and the NVR network are connected to each other, you can ping it to see if it works.

Image jams are often caused by network bandwidth issues, involving external device switches, NVRs, network cables, etc. You can reduce the camera frame number, resolution, code stream, etc. to observe, and connect the camera to the PC to observe whether the real-time image is smooth.

Third, the camera image black screen

1. Check whether the power supply is connected properly and whether the power supply voltage meets the requirements. 2. Try to connect a single camera to the PC. If an image appears, it may be due to IP conflict with other cameras or the bandwidth reaches the upper limit.

3. When PoE power supply, please confirm whether the quality of the network cable meets the standard. (Just use a multimeter to measure the resistance of the network cable)

Fourth, the image appears twill, water ripples, horizontal lines

This situation is not necessarily a problem of the product itself. In many cases, it is caused by the following reasons:

1. It is recommended to use national standard wire as far as possible. Wires of poor quality are susceptible to interference during transmission.

2. The video cable or camera is interfered by a strong magnetic field. Sources of strong magnetic fields such as high-power motors, high-frequency transmitters, etc .; strong magnetic fields will interfere with most cameras.

3. The transmission line is too long

4. When judging, please replace the cable, power supply, etc. of the camera and connect it separately for testing.

It is because the power of the power supply or PoE switch does not meet the requirements, because the infrared all-in-one machine is no different from the ordinary camera during the daytime work, but at night the infrared lamp is in the working state, and the working current suddenly becomes large, causing the load to be exceeded.

For example, the camera is 18W, and there are 7 such cameras. If you use a switch with 8 PoE power supply ports, the power supply is 150W, and the total power of the PoE is about 140W after removing losses. When the infrared is turned on at night, the power will be higher, so this switch will definitely not work, so you have to replace it with a higher-power PoE switch, such as a 200W or more.

7. How many cameras can be connected with one switch

According to the different parameter settings of each network camera (resolution, frame number, image quality, etc.), for example, a 200W pixel camera has a stream bandwidth of 4Mbps, while the actual bandwidth of a switch is only about 60% of the theoretical value (100 Mega switch is roughly 60Mbps, Gigabit is 600Mbps).

1. If you use a 100M switch, you can connect 15 units (15 * = 60Mbps)

2. If you use a Gigabit switch, you can connect 150 units (150? = 600M)

3. These are all taking the mainstream H.264 camera as an example. If it is a H.265 camera, the bandwidth of the same picture quality is halved, which means that it can take twice as many surveillance cameras.

8. Insufficient power supply for the dome camera using POE switches

Generally, the power used by the speed dome is usually larger than that of other types of cameras. Therefore, when using PoE power supply on the site, pay attention to the use of POE + switches. It is still recommended to use a power supply for power supply in actual field use. (Considering factors such as distance, environment, stability, etc.).

9. Matters needing attention when NVR and camera are different brands

1. At present, most of the cameras produced by mainstream manufacturers are 0NVIF protocol, pay attention to the protocol matching when adding cameras to the NVR.

Sometimes setting the onvif protocol does not solve the problem. Possible reasons:

1. The IP address of the camera is not on the same network segment as the recorder.

2. The port is not set correctly,

3. The password is not set correctly.

4. The camera does not open the onvif protocol.

So I will check these questions one by one.

After troubleshooting, these possible reasons have been investigated again, but the problem camera can not be added.

How to do it?

The above has been tested, why hasn't it been solved yet? It may be that the camera of Haikang has not been activated. The nvr of Dahua needs to activate the camera of Haikang. It may be that there is no user added to the camera of Haikang.

To add users, the password should be the same as the password of the recorder, so it is convenient to add directly.

10. Why can't NVR add a camera with high resolution?

Please check the NVR parameters. The maximum resolution of the camera supported by the NVR is generally insufficient display resources. If it is not supported, you can reduce the resolution in the camera settings.
