Electric cars aren't new to BMW. Until now, BMW has tested the electric mini Cooper for some time. One of the things we really like about i3 is that it looks different. Many other electric cars try to integrate its design elements. The i3 is compact and lightweight, and it resembles a hatchback, but it has four doors, unlike the classic Mini Cooper. The back door is self-closing, connected to the rear of the car, not to the middle. The generator is mounted behind, like an old VW Beetle.
