In areas where water is scarce, the water in the concentrates and tailings of the ore dressing needs to be utilized. The water obtained by dehydration is sent back to the concentrator for recycling.
In the process of beneficiation, in addition to the need for dewatering of concentrates and tailings, sometimes due to the needs of the process, in order to improve the concentration of ore in the lower section and improve the sorting effect, the intermediate products are also dehydrated. Such as the washing of cyanide pulp or the dewatering of flotation mines.
It can be seen that the dewatering operation is an auxiliary operation necessary for the concentrator. According to the current requirements for the quality of concentrates, the gold concentrate should be less than 14% by weight and the long-distance transportation should be less than 8% in winter.
